Design & Technology and Textiles Technician job summary

George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are looking for a confident and motivated individual to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Design & Technology and Textiles departments in all aspects of practical work and demonstrations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our amazing students in a supportive environment.

The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative, have good organisational skills and work well under pressure in order to facilitate and actively contribute to high quality teaching and learning. The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Design & Technology and Textiles lessons via practical, administrative and classroom support.
