Bishop Challoner is seeking a hardworking individual to join our Design Technology and Art Departments. The individual we seek will be supporting the delivery of Product Design and Textiles at Key Stages 3 and 4 and Art at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, organised, and flexible individual who will join a dedicated and experienced team. The ideal candidate will be competent in the set-up, use and maintenance of workshop equipment and machinery, new technologies such as laser cutting and 3D printing and art processes. The role will involve preparing materials and equipment for lessons, stock management, providing technical and practical support to students and supporting with extra-curricular activities, exhibitions, and whole school events. The candidate will need to have a detailed knowledge of Health and Safety legislation applicable to the delivery of the Art and Design Technology curriculum and will be responsible for supporting the departments in meeting all relevant legislation.
