Opportunity to join the All Saints Academy team!
D&T Technician - Part Time (18.25 hours per week, Term Time Only)
Our school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic D&T Technician to support our vibrant Design & Technology department. This role is central to helping pupils enjoy creative, hands‑on learning in a safe and well‑organised environment.
Your role will involve:
Preparing and setting up materials, workshops and equipment for practical lessons
Supporting teachers and pupils during lessons to assist with materials, practical lessons and demonstrations.
To maintain and undertake basic repairs to apparatus, machinery and equipment or arranging repairs by approved contractors
Helping maintain a safe working environment, including routine equipment checks, COSHH checklists and risk assessments.
Ordering and organising materials and resources
Providing general administrative and technical support to the department
To undertake basic First Aid training
