Design & Technology Technician job summary

Soham Village College is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Design and Technology Technician to provide technical support to the faculty. The role will involve the preparation of materials, maintenance of machinery, one-to-one student support during practical lessons and general workshop duties.

Would you like to work towards becoming a Technician in D&T?

We will also consider applicants who do not have a qualification in or relating to workshop machinery but have a keen interest in practical work or D&T. You will be prepared to undertake the necessary mandatory training as a condition of acceptance and the pay will be adjusted in this circumstance until training is completed. 37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 16.30, Friday 8.30 – 16.00

term time only

Salary £20,785 - £21,114

Based on fte £24,790 - £25,183
