Experience
- An outstanding classroom practitioner
- Experience of implementing systems and processes to aid learning, teaching and student development
- Management and experience of curriculum innovation
- Active involvement in the promotion of equal opportunities
- Experience and confidence in working with and engaging with parents and partner high schools
- Experience of policy review, development and implementation
- Ability to teach computing and I-media to GCSE and computing to A level
- Working knowledge of Ofsted framework and protocol
- Experience and understanding of lifelong learning principles and community engagement
- Awareness and or involvement with ITT/appropriate CPD

- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

What the school offers its staff
Lionheart Educational Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional professional to join our Trust Leadership Team as Director of Computing and online safety in our secondary phase. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, leadership and management of computing and IT education across our schools. We see this post holder supporting our colleagues to fully embed the aims of the national and trust curriculum so that all pupils develop a love for the subject and make exceptional progress, thus facilitating and unlocking potential in a wide range of other disciplines.
You will need to be an experienced and inspirational teacher with experience of implementing systems and processes to aid learning, teaching and student development along with a clear and demonstrable commitment to sustaining and raising achievement, attainment and aspirations of all students.
