What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estates professional to join our senior leadership team. Based in our TEAL Development Centre, next door to South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College, East Dale Road, Melton, you will lead on the development and delivery of the estates and sustainability strategies and plans. Key responsibilities will include capital projects, facilities management, sustainability, health and safety and risk management functions.
Working across the trust, you will ensure that our schools operate safely and adhere to the legal and statutory health and safety requirements, providing support and guidance to Premises Managers and Headteachers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
The salary details above are for a full-time, throughout the year position, however, if you are interested in working on a part time basis and/or term-time, please get in touch and we are happy to explore this with you.

What are we looking for?
As an estates senior leader, you will have demonstrable experience of successfully delivering major capital programmes from inception to post contract evaluation on time, within budget and to an exceptionally high standard, alongside experience of facilities management including soft FM services (i.e. cleaning, waste management, caretaking).
Experience of managing a large estate including all aspects of operational maintenance, property management, compliance, fire, health and safety, financial and risk management all within financial parameters is essential, as is knowledge and experience of successfully writing reports, business cases and leading on estates related procurement and contract management.

The Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust was established in 2015 so that South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College could support the setting up of Hunsley Primary School, the East Riding’s first Free School. In February 2016, Malet Lambert School, an 11-16 school in Hull, joined the trust and the following year, Driffield School and Sixth Form joined as a sponsored academy. The Snaith School, an 11-16 school joined us in April 2019 and North Cave CE Primary School in November 2019. Howden Junior School joined us October 2022 followed by Wilberfoss CE Primary School in May 2023. Howden CE Infant School joined us in September 2023 followed by Naburn CE Primary School who joined on 1 October as a sponsored academy.
In addition to the ten schools, the trust also operates Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training, the only Outstanding SCITT based in East Yorkshire, which is training a new generation of primary and secondary teachers in East Riding and Hull.
