Director of Humanities and MFL job summary

This exciting new post has been created for an enthusiastic, talented and driven individual to lead a team of dedicated teachers in our improving school at the heart of its community. The Director of humanities and MFL will join five other colleagues at this level, holding a senior leadership position within James Calvert Spence College and be responsible for the quality of provision, and outcomes, across the school. Due to our unique age range, this person will be pivotal in ensuring outstanding provision for our students aged 9 upwards so they receive a truly seamless educational experience leading to employment or higher education. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue our journey towards excellence. We have fully staffed departments of specialist teachers and offer geography, history and French at both GCSE and A-level. Staff and governors are fully committed to promoting equal opportunity and an outstanding educational experience for all students.
