Director of Safeguarding and Attendance job summary
Sapientia Education Trust is a rapidly growing multi-academy trust and seeks to appoint a motivated Director of Safeguarding and Attendance to join our team.
The role has the flexibility of being 0.8 PTE or FTE, to be agreed with the candidate.
The Director of Safeguarding and Attendance will work across all Trust Schools. You will be responsible for delivering high quality practice, advice, guidance, training and support to all schools on safeguarding and attendance including mental health as part of the safeguarding agenda. You will be taking the strategic lead of the vision to become a centre of excellence for safeguarding and attendance and ensure high standards and progressive as well as responsive approaches, are in place.
This senior leadership role would suit an individual with expert knowledge of safeguarding, and we are open to both teaching and non-teaching professional backgrounds.
