DSPL1 Administrator job summary
Join us in making a meaningful difference to children and young people with SEND as our DSPL1 Administrator. Working closely with the DSPL1 Manager, DSPL1 SEND Lead and DSPL1 Lead Headteacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the coordination and communication of our local SEND partnership. This varied and rewarding position is ideal for someone who excels in organisation, values teamwork, and is committed to helping ensure that information, resources and support reach the families, schools and professionals who need them most.
This post is for 10 hours each week, with flexible working arrangements.
Operational Coordination:
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, manage schedules, and support delivery of DSPL projects.
Communication & Liaison:
Act as a central contact point for schools, settings, parents/carers, and partner agencies, sharing updates and resources across the network.
Data & Documentation Management:
Maintain accurate records, track project progress, monitor training attendance, and support reporting for DSPL governance groups.
Governance Support:
Prepare agendas, take minutes, track actions, and provide administrative support to boards and working groups.
Financial Administration:
Support budgeting processes, monitor spend, and process invoices in line with DSPL funding procedures.
Training & Event Coordination:
Organise SEND training, workshops, and parent/carer events, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up administration.
Website & Social Media Management:
Update the DSPL website with current information, resources, and events; create and schedule social media posts to communicate key messages and promote DSPL activities.
