EAL support Assistant job summary

North Liverpool Academy is an inclusive community school with over 40 different first languages being spoken by students. In order for us to fully support our students, we are hiring an additional EAL Learning Support Assistant to work with our diverse student population. The ideal candidate will have the ability to speak one of the home languages of our students including Bulgarian, Romanian, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and Polish. Experience of teaching English as an additional language or literacy and hold an ESOL or TEFL qualification would be an advantage but not essential.
