Early Years Apprentice job summary
St Giles' and St George's is looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join the growing academy team.
The position is offered on a fixed-term basis, for the duration of the course, starting 1st September 2026. The post will be full-time due to the required apprenticeship study time.

The role is very much based around being a team player who has a flexible attitude and is willing to get the job done. The key function is to work with children aged 3-5, supporting them in their day to day routine.
We are looking for someone who:
- has a passion for working with children
- is flexible, enthusiastic, has lots of energy and a real sense of fun and are calm and patient
- has the ability to work as part of a team and to show initiative
- is keen to be involved in all aspects of school life
- has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children and parents
- has excellent English and Maths skills, as well as being creative
- has a thorough understanding of the need for confidentiality and the importance of safeguarding
- can support the Christian ethos and values of the academy.
