What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Educator to join our nursery team, playing an important role in supporting the growth and development of our youngest children.

As an Early Years Educator, you will:

  • Enjoy working as part of a team

  • Assist in delivering creative and stimulating learning activities for nursery-aged children (2 - 3 years old)

  • Support children’s development across physical, social and emotional areas

  • Work closely with staff, parents and carers to meet individual needs

  • Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment that encourages learning

  • Contribute to observations and planning, including for children with special educational needs

The ideal candidate:

  • Will hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) or equivalent)

  • May have some experience working in an early years setting.

  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Is enthusiastic and eager to support children’s development through play and learning

  • Is caring, reliable and committed to providing the best start for young learners

  • Has good communication and teamwork skills, working well as part of a team

  • Has a Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete)
