Willoughby Road Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead Teacher to join our academy as soon as possible on a full time, permanent basis.
Your new school
As a Lead Teacher you will provide pedagogic leadership as an outstanding classroom practitioner, playing a key part in raising standards through the model of your own excellent teaching and by supporting the professional development of your colleagues. The ultimate aim will be to improve the learning experience and increase the outcomes of pupils, whatever their ability.
Willoughby Road Primary Academy lies at the heart of the local community within Scunthorpe. The academy strongly believes in giving individual attention to the needs of the children in our care. We support the development of lifelong learners through development of life skills that include responsibility, resilience, respect, and readiness for learning. It is our mission to offer every child a high-quality education in a supportive, safe and challenging environment in which they feel valued and are inspired to become lifelong learners who are ‘striving to be the best’. There are currently 283 pupils on roll.
