Early Years Lead job summary

Prince Rock Primary School are looking to appoint a new Early Years Lead to our wonderful school. As a proud member of the Learning Academies Trust, we are looking for a dedicated and collaborative professional to join our Senior Leadership Team at our warm and welcoming school. With a strong family ethos at the heart of everything we do, our school is a place where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential.

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a vital and celebrated part of our school, and we are proud of the nurturing, engaging environment we offer our youngest learners. We are seeking someone who shares our commitment to our school values and key message of 'Treat Others as you would like others to treat you' . We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellence in their day-to-day practice, is ready to contribute to our school and local community inclusive and child-centred culture and is eager to play a key role in shaping the future of our school.

Candidates should have:

Successful experience of early years leadership

Understanding of child development

Understanding of high-quality teaching and learning strategies in the EYFS, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve

Enthusiasm to work collaboratively with LAT colleagues and Early Years leads
