Early Years Practitioner job summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. Our Nursery & Pre-Schools provide an inclusive Childcare service for both mainstream children, and those with SEND and the successful candidate will be required to support us to deliver a fun, educational and nurturing environment for children.
We are currently looking for an Early Years Practitioner who:
- Must hold a recognised NNEB or NVQ level 3 or above qualification
- Have experience of working with children with from 3 months – 4 years
- Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Your Role as Early Years Practitioner
As Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support children’s learning and development through play
- Act as a Key Worker for a small group of children and build relationships with their families
- Promote the health, safeguarding and well-being of children
- Be a role model to other staff and deliver high-quality early years experiences for children
- Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed, both Local Authority procedures
- Support our Manager and the team in our Ofsted grading
- Embrace, understand and promote City View Pre-Schools & Nurseries Ltd as both a high-quality nursery provider and employer
We would like our new team member to start in May 2026.
Our New team member will be required to work 45hpw - Monday - Friday (8am – 5pm). Our settings are currently a term time only 38 weeks a year. The current rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
