Full -Time Early Years - Teaching Assistant (4)

(TA4 - Level 6 - 33.5 hours)

Fixed Term until beginning September 2026 till the end of the Summer Term (21st July 2027)

NJC Level 6a which equates to £26,083.75 - £28,617.91 approx actual salary per annum

You MUST have a NNEB or BTEC or NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification for this role. Shortlisting will be limited to candidates who meet this requirement.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children in EYFS at our school.

You must be able to support children across our three Reception classes, including covering teachers PPA time. Liaison and building relationships with families is also a key part of this role. You will attend to personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including hygiene, physical, first aid and medical matters. The school has an intimate care policy which fully supports staff who care for children at our school. The ability to use your own initiative both working alone and as part of a friendly team is vital. The successful candidate will be supported with appropriate continuous professional development.

You must have fluent spoken and written English for this role.
