An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Fulbridge Academy, with the successful candidate starting as soon as possible, subject to the completion of all necessary pre-employment checks.

We are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children and committed to creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment in which they can develop and grow.

The role

Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team, you will:

  • Support the delivery of high quality teaching and learning, both indoors and outdoors, through purposeful play and adult led teaching

  • Help to create and maintain an engaging and purposeful Early Years learning environment

  • Support children’s communication and language, literacy, maths, and personal, social and emotional development

  • Observe children’s learning and development, providing regular feedback on their progress and achievements

  • Adapt and deliver learning activities for individual children and small groups, as agreed with the class teacher

  • Encourage children’s independence, confidence and curiosity

  • Encourage inclusion and promote positive relationships

  • Prioritise the safeguarding, care and wellbeing of children at all times

  • Support children with their personal care needs where required

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, parents and carers

  • Attend meetings and training as required
