Early Years Worker (Scale 3) job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years worker (scale 3) to inspire our wonderful pupils and contribute to our school community. Our 2-form entry school prides itself on nurturing both children and staff to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a committed practitioner who wants to nurture our young learners.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning activities to support all learners
  • Promote the inclusion of all children, supporting all children to access the curriculum.
  • Ensure children’s personal care needs are met.
  • Act as a key person for a group of children and families.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce written reports.
  • Promote positive behaviour across the school, following the policies carefully.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training as necessary.
  • Create a stimulating environment for children
  • Understand the EYFS statutory requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Be able to maintain the learning environment so that it reflects current learning.
  • Be committed to safeguarding children.
  • Support the use of information and communication technology for teaching and learning.

    Our pupils are lovely, curious learners who respond well to teachers who are fair, consistent, and genuinely invested in their progress.

    8.30-3.30pm (32.5 hours per week)

    39 weeks per year
