What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Demonstrates high expectations for all pupils, both academically and behaviourally
  • Has experience (or a strong commitment to) inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
  • Is able to plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
  • Uses assessment effectively to inform teaching and support pupil progress
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
  • Works well as part of a team and is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Is organised, reflective and committed to their own professional development
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
