The job will involve working with lots of different people and teams in various locations. A high level of emotional intelligence and team working skills are required.
The Leader for Adult Aspirations will spend one day per week in each establishment on a rolling basis and there is an expectation to spend some time working in the Central Office. As the role is on the leadership scale there is an expectation of working beyond the standard 32.5 hour week.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the work of the Careers Advisors, and associated staff, and providing direct line management.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reviewing practice in this area and helping to promote improvement strategies across EIAT.
- Working alongside school leaders and curriculum teams to embed Preparation for Adulthood outcomes within the curriculum.
- Ensuring that EIAT is compliant in terms of Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders to include developing and delivering meaningful parent engagement opportunities, and playing an active role in relevant network groups.
The successful candidate will undertake the Level 7 Careers Lead qualification if not already held and undertake the role of a DSL.
