We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to provide technical support in the College workshops, working alongside academic staff to assist with practical Electrotechnical skills. The role involves supporting students during workshop and class sessions, demonstrating industry-standard techniques, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. You will play a key role in delivering hands-on learning experiences in a safe and effective environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong electrical experience alongside a relevant industry qualification. Strong communication skills and a practical approach to teaching will be essential for supporting students and assisting with day-to-day operations. If you have a background in the electrotechnical field and a passion for supporting education, we encourage you to apply.
*This will be paid as £1,500 at the end of first month of employment and £1,500 after six months completed service. The entire sum will be repayable if you leave within the first two years of service. This only applies to direct applicants and not to those staff who come through an agency. Internal college policy applies.
