Maternity cover to commence March 2026 until return of postholder

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated teacher who will inspire our students to achieve their personal best. You will be expected to teach confidently across Key Stages 3 and 4, catering to a range of abilities and maintaining high expectations for all students. A key part of the role will involve confidently using data to track student progress, identify areas for development, and implement targeted strategies to support student success.

Strong teamwork skills and the desire to contribute fully to the development of the successful English department are essential. You should have an ambitious outlook and a firm commitment to collaborative working within a supportive team. You will also have a strong student-focused approach, using data-driven insights to inform your teaching, and will be a forward thinker and passionate practitioner.

Ralph Allen is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children: the successful applicant must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
