This is an exciting opportunity to join the English Department within an outstanding Secondary School. The successful candidate will be committed to planning and delivering a high quality, interesting curriculum, which will challenge and inspire all our students.

We are looking for a teacher who displays the following characteristics:

  • Enthusiasm for working with 11-16 year old students.

  • A thoughtful and self-reflective approach to pedagogy.

  • A desire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner.

  • A passion for the subject.

  • Excellent ICT skills that make learning visible in the classroom.

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a continued desire to develop further. .
