English Teacher with Reading TLR

This is a unique role that has developed as our school has grown. We recognise the valuable role that reading plays in education and employment. To support this, we are looking for a suitable candidate to work with our pupils to develop their reading skills. We follow a number of proven reading programmes and dedicate curriculum time to enable pupils to focus on developing this important skill.
The successful candidate must have:
The ability to develop engaging reading resources and activities,
The capacity to work collaboratively as part of the English curriculum team,
A passion for reading that drives them to help pupils achieve their very best.

The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
