Lead a specialist provision and make a lasting impact

We are seeking an inspiring and experienced ERP Lead Teacher to take a leading role within our Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) for students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead a specialist provision, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and pastoral support that enables every pupil to thrive academically and personally.

About the Role

As ERP Lead Teacher, you will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the MLD provision
  • Plan, deliver and oversee high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with additional needs
  • Develop and implement personalised learning programmes aligned to pupils’ EHCP outcomes
  • Lead, support and supervise support staff to ensure effective provision
  • Monitor, track and report on pupil progress, working closely with parents, carers and external agencies
  • Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment that supports engagement, wellbeing and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with Trust colleagues, leaders and external partners to share best practice
  • Chair Annual Reviews and liaise with the Local Authority regarding EHCPs and placements

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong commitment to professional development
  • Has a strong understanding of SEND, particularly Moderate Learning Difficulties
  • Demonstrates excellent teaching practice and the ability to deliver high-quality, differentiated learning
  • Has experience of assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress effectively
  • Is confident leading others and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Is committed to inclusive education, high expectations and continuous improvement
