Estates and Facilities Business Partner job summary

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Business Partner to join our central service team. You will be joining the trust at an exciting time as it has gone through a period of significant growth and we are continuing to develop our central team to support our schools.

Working closely with the Trust’s Head of Estates, you will oversee a designated caseload of schools and will be responsible for maintaining an oversight of health and safety and buildings compliance. You will be the lead contact for assigned capital projects, coordinating works and contractors.

You will work with internal stake holders ensuring that trust properties are safe, are an effective environment to support teaching and learning, and adhere to statutory legislation and regulatory requirements. This post is key to developing a centralised function, in all areas including maintenance, capital works and strategic planning, both short and long term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an estates and premises background in a large multi property organisation. You will have experience of embedding strong estate management routines and robust Health and Safety processes across multiple sites. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to build supportive relationships across the Trust and have effective communication and change management skills, with an ability to influence at all levels. You will be able to multi-task, manage time effectively and keep calm under pressure.

If you believe you have the vision and commitment to join our team, then we would like to hear from you.

The Blue Kite Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
