Ridgeway Education Trust (RET) is a multi-academy trust which comprises of Didcot Girls’ School, St Birinus School, Stephen Freeman Primary School, All Saints CofE Primary School, Hagbourne CofE Primary School, Carterton Primary School, Long Wittenham CofE Primary School and Sutton Courtenay CofE Primary School. The two secondary schools also include Didcot Sixth Form, a mixed sixth form of some 420 boys and girls.

Finance Assistant (part-time or full-time / all year round or term time only)
We are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant who is organised, self motivated and able to undertake a range of finance responsibilities in order to support teaching and learning within the Trust.
Key purpose of the role
To undertake a range of finance responsibilities in order to support teaching and learning and ensure the Trust day to day financial tasks are undertaken in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with the Trust Finance Manual and Scheme of Delegation.
Principal Responsibilities
Purchase Ordering
Invoice Processing
BACS Payments
Income Receipting
Cash and Bank
Trip Reconciliation
Month End Tasks
(eg. balance sheet recs/Aged creditor analysis)
Undertake such other reasonable duties and activities as may be required from time to time as directed by postholder’s line manager, Finance Officer (Exchequer), Deputy CFO or CFO.

Contract terms and duties
This is a permanent post with full and part time (minimum 30 hours per week) hours considered. In addition, this is an all year round contract however term time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks) will be considered.
The post is remunerated at Grade 6/7 depending on experience (£26,824 - £31,022 pa FTE pro-rata for hours agreed)
