Trust Finance and Operations Administration Officer job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trust Finance and Operations Administration Officer to support our business service team.
About the role
The Trust Finance and Operations Administration Officer will provide administrative support to the business service teams, inclusive of Finance, Estates and Digital Strategy. The role will support the ongoing development of high quality service delivery to Trust schools in the areas of Finance and Operations.
Some examples of our expectations include:
- Provide high quality day-to-day administrative support across finance and operations, carrying out a wide range of processing, data entry and administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting
- Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring value for money and adherence to Trust procurement policies and legal thresholds
- Maintain and update the Trust’s contracts register, including service-level agreements, lease agreements, and preferred suppliers
- Support the Digital Strategy Manager with the coordination of Trust-wide IT projects and initiatives
- Assist the Estates Manager with the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance across all Trust sites
- Support compliance with statutory and H&S requirements by supporting the Estates manager with tracking certification, inspection dates, and contractor visits

About You
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in an Administration role and an understanding of key principles required to deliver effective administration support
- Experience of working with Finance policies and procedures
- Experience of working within and developing policies
- Experience of managing inventories for assets
- Experience of project work
- Strong organisational skills and a clear understanding of the principles of effective administration
- The ability to prioritise in a busy working environment with multiple stakeholders
