Estates Opearative job summary
Join The Dean Trust as an Estates Operative and become part of a flexible, multi-site estates team dedicated to providing safe, secure, and welcoming learning environments across our schools.
Based primarily at one site, you will also provide premises support across Park View Academy, Blacklow Brow Primary School, and the Lord Derby Academy Hub.
Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our sites, including keyholding, site security, minor maintenance, statutory compliance checks, and ensuring our buildings remain safe and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
As a forward-thinking Trust, we use digital systems rather than paper logbooks. You'll be provided with an iPad to complete daily health and safety and compliance checks quickly and efficiently—no specialist IT knowledge is needed, just confidence using simple apps.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, reliable, and proactive individual who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and wants to make a real difference to our school communities.
In return, we offer comprehensive employee benefits package, including wellbeing support and professional development opportunities, please see our Trust benefits in the attached Recruitment Brochure
