At Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy we are seeking a hardworking and reliable Evening Cleaner to join our dedicated premises team.

Working Weeks: 43 weeks per year (39 weeks school time + inset & 20 days during school holidays)

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 15:30 - 18:30 Wednesday: 14:30 - 17:30

Total: 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week

Role Purpose

The successfully appointed Evening Cleaner will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out cleaning tasks throughout the Academy, including deep cleaning during holiday periods
  • Maintaining health and safety standards and reporting any concerns
  • Handling cleaning chemicals safely and in line with COSHH requirements
  • Following all Academy policies and procedures

The successful candidate will:

  • Work independently using initiative, while contributing as part of a team
