Exam Invigilator job summary

We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to join our team at Great Park Academy. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and professional individual to support the smooth running of school examinations. As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring examinations are conducted fairly, securely and in accordance with examination board regulations, helping students perform at their best in a calm and supportive environment.

Reporting to the Exams Manager, you will supervise students during examinations and help maintain the integrity of the examination process. Duties will include:

  • Preparing examination venues and distributing examination materials.
  • Supervising students before, during and after examinations.
  • Ensuring examination regulations and school procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintaining the security and confidentiality of examination papers and materials.
  • Supporting students who require additional assistance during examinations where appropriate.
  • Reporting any concerns or irregularities in line with school procedures.
