Exam Invigilator job summary

Exam Invigilator Pay Scale Range: £13.85 per hour + Holiday Allowance

Starting May 2026

Contract: Work available - Feb/March/May/June/November/December - Casual Contract

We seek to appoint enthusiastic and flexible Invigilators to join a fantastic team dedicated to running all public examinations at the school throughout the academic year. During examinations, you will supervise students taking internal and external examinations.

This post would be ideally suited to applicants who are highly organised, vigilant, and reliable, have excellent attention to detail, can remain calm under pressure, and are flexible enough to be called in at short notice.

These positions are casual, as and when required, throughout the academic year. Shifts will vary (from a minimum of 2 hours to all day), and you will need to be able to start work at 8 a.m.

We welcome applications from candidates who:

Have experience of working as an Exams Invigilator (preferable but not essential)

Have a professional manner

Are enthusiastic and have a friendly approach
