Exam Invigilator job summary

ST John Rigby College is looking for individuals to perform the role of Exam Invigilator..

You will be working as part of a successful exams team and will be responsible for upholding and safeguarding the regulations and requirements of the relevant examining bodies.

Working as part of the exams team you will be central to providing our students with an environment to achieve the best possible outcomes in their exams. Days are fast paced with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Invigilators should be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions, with the flexibility to deal with unexpected situations and the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Applicants should be available to work during the busy GCSE period from May to June and may be called upon throughout the year when other exams take place, typically during November, February, and March. A casual contract means there are no fixed hours/weeks, however, normal working hours will be between 8:00am and 17:00pm. It may be necessary to work out of normal working hours on occasion.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
