We are seeking to expand our already fantastic team of Exam Invigilators at Havant Academy. We are looking for individuals who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so that they achieve their best in their examinations as well as working in an organised and methodical manner to ensure the exam process is executed in line with regulations. Our pool of Exam Invigilators are required to work at various times throughout the academic year; however the three main periods are: Mocks exams (January to February) Summer exams (May to June) Mock exams (June to July)
We would welcome applications from people with experience, but training can be provided for those who would be new to the role. Applicants should have a calm, authoritative manner with a ‘natural presence’. You must be punctual, reliable, a good communicator, able to work as part of a team and have a flexible attitude to work. Duties include laying out stationery, observation, checking attendance, collecting scripts and liaising with candidates and examinations staff to resolve queries. This will require standing and walking around for up to two hours at a time. You may also receive training and be asked to act as a scribe or reader for students with additional learning needs.
