Are you looking for an exciting, challenging, joyful and rewarding career, that is part of shaping education for our young people, join us.

Exams don't just test what a young person knows, they need to reflect what that young person can show, when it counts. We need an Exams Coordinator to make sure access arrangements are right and every student walks into the exam room properly prepared.

Chiltern Way Academy Trust is a highly successful, award-winning multi-academy trust providing mainstream and specialist education for children and young people aged 2 to 19. Rated Exceptional for Inclusion by Ofsted and named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work, both in 2026.

Why join us

  • You're never on your own: you'll work closely with our SENDCo, therapies team and Trust Data Lead and Exams and Data Assistant.

  • Build real expertise in JCQ access arrangements, exams administration and student wellbeing support, with full training given.

  • Benefits - Health Assured EAP, Westfield Health, GymFlex, Reward Gateway discounts, and the Local Government Pension Scheme.

  • Work that matters: you'll help students prepare with confidence and get the access arrangements they're entitled to.

The role

Coordinating access arrangements with our SENDCo. Delivering exam-prep and study skills sessions with the therapies team. Running exam rooms, invigilation and secure script dispatch. Supporting mocks, coursework, BTEC and standardised testing like CAT4. All to Trust and JCQ standards.

About you

GCSE English and Maths 4 (or equivalent) and a Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience. Calm, discreet and resilient, especially around exam anxiety. Understanding of ASC, SEMH and EBSA needs. Experience of exam administration, invigilation or supporting SEND students is a bonus, not a must, full training given.
