Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey within an educational community that values increasing opportunities, improving outcomes for our students. We are looking for exams invigilators to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be required to provide a high standard of invigilating both internal and public examinations in accordance with regulations laid down by the examining bodies. It is important that the ideal candidate is able to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will ideally have experience of working within an invigilation role within a school context. You are someone who is flexible, able to use initiative and keep calm under pressure or during an unexpected circumstance. You are someone who pays high attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of Exam Invigilator regulations would be an advantage, but training will be given.

Reporting to the exams officer you will undertake:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Invigilating public examinations, in accordance with regulations laid down by the examining bodies

Supervising candidates held incommunicado before or after oral assessments, or while waiting to sit rescheduled exams

Invigilating internal exams and tests in accordance with school regulations and familiarising candidates with their role

Invigilating the School’s entrance examination

Undertaking tasks such as checking registers against scripts and packing them at the end of exams

Participate in training and other learning activities as required;

Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Headmaster or other members of the Senior Leadership Team

Pay range: £13.05 plus £1.58 (holiday pay) per hour
