Exams Officer -Key Stage 5 Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week) Term Time + 2 Weeks (40 weeks) Salary Scale F £19,485 - £21,512 per annum (£22,183-£24,491 full time equivalent) Starting as soon as possible Location: Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form and Jane Austen College are seeking an organised, proactive and reliable team member with excellent communication skills to work as a Key Stage 5 Data and Exams Officer across both sixth form sites. The successful candidate will work at both sites; working days and hours to be agreed upon appointment. Sir Isaac Newton, a science and maths specialist sixth form, and Jane Austen College are both based in the centre of Norwich. Staff satisfaction and retention is exceptionally high at both sites. Both sixth forms have been judged by OFSTED as outstanding in all areas. The successful candidate should have a sound understanding of the metrics of Key Stage 5 assessments including A level exams and university aptitude tests. They will take responsibility in ensuring efficient and effective arrangements for internal and external examinations that take place at the sixth form in order to meet the requirements of examination boards and the needs of the candidates. The successful candidate will understand the regulation of exam access arrangements. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, have some analytical and ICT skills, and be able to work under pressure. They should be confident in the input and output of data as well as the manipulation of data to provide coherent and meaningful information for the leadership team and staff.
