Seeking an Exceptional Teaching Assistant Role: Teaching Assistant (Grade 3) King Edwin Primary School, Edwinstowe

Contract: 1yr with potential for extension At King Edwin Primary School, we believe that education is about more than just meeting targets; it’s about igniting curiosity and building the confidence children need to navigate the world.

Our school is a vibrant hub in the Edwinstowe community, defined by a culture of high expectations, mutual respect, and a genuine sense of belonging.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join our team.

We aren't looking for someone to simply "assist" - we are looking for a #KingEdwinner: a professional who is deeply committed to the craft of supporting young learners and who brings a unique, positive energy to our classrooms.

What We Are Looking For:

The successful candidate will be someone who understands and is skilled at supporting our children both academically and emotionally.

We want to hear from you if:

• You are a specialist in potential: You have a knack for identifying a child’s barriers to learning and the patience and skill to help them break through.

• You lead by example: You model resilience, kindness, and curiosity in everything you do.

• You are proactive: You don’t wait to be told where you’re needed; you see the "gap" and fill it with purposeful support.

• You value connection: You understand that children learn best when they feel safe and seen. You are a master at building rapport with students, parents, and colleagues alike.

• You hold high standards: You take pride in your work and believe that every child - regardless of their starting point - is capable of greatness.

• Our pupils: Our children are inquisitive, energetic, and a genuine joy to teach. They make the "hard days" worth it.

• Our ethos: We are proud of our reputation for excellence in Edwinstowe. At KEPS, you aren't just an employee; you are a vital part of a mission-driven community.

• Our Values: We grow, learn and achieve together here at KEPS and our values permeate every element of school life

How to Apply;

If you are ready to bring your talent and dedication to a school that celebrates character as much as we do attainment, we want to hear from you.

Please submit your application form, along with a letter of application to the School Office (office@kingedwin.notts.sch.uk).
