Executive Assistant to the Leadership Team job summary
We’re looking for someone proactive, organised and adaptable to join our central team in this brand-new role. Based at the central office of BDMAT, the Executive Assistant to the Leadership Team will be an excellent organiser and communicator who thrives in a fast-moving environment and will act as the anchor for our multi-functional central team/office. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the position from the ground up, working across multiple areas of the organisation supporting the CEO, MAT Educational Leads and Leadership Team and making a real impact from day one.

This unique position is an opportunity for the right candidate to grow the role and make it their own, becoming the keystone of the central team and the reference point for those accessing services and information from our Trust.
In this role you’ll be the go-to person for a variety of tasks, supporting internal and external customers and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a varied role where no two days are the same - perfect for someone who enjoys juggling priorities and thrives in a dynamic environment.
About You
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Positive, adaptable, and eager to take ownership of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily administration of the Trust’s offices and streamlining administrative and organisational processes
- Supporting with the co-ordination of internal and external events
- Manage correspondence, scheduling, and document preparation.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Assist with onboarding new central team staff and coordinating training sessions.
- Support project work, including research, reporting, and meeting preparation.
- Liaise with the leadership team, internal teams and external customers to ensure seamless communication.
