The Bishop of Winchester Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Executive Assistant to the Principal and Vice Principals. This is a critical role within the academy and an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive executive support and co-ordinate a range of strategic and administrative activities to ensure the smooth running of daily operations for our senior leaders while contributing to the academy’s continued success.
Main duties and responsibilities
In this key role, you will provide executive support to the Principal and Vice Principals, managing diaries, correspondence and key meetings. You’ll act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth communication and effective organisation. From co-ordinating events, supporting with the marketing of the academy, and overseeing our policy framework, the role is varied and rewarding.
Skills and experience
We are seeking a capable and highly organised professional with proven administrative expertise, ideally gained within an education environment. You’ll bring excellent interpersonal skills, strong IT skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and work with an attention to detail under pressure. Experience of supporting senior leaders, alongside the confidence to supervise others when needed is key. Discretion, initiative and strong communication skills are essential, as is a flexible proactive approach to the role.
