Receptionist job summary

As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient school environment. Duties include answering calls, managing visitor sign-ins, handling enquiries, and supporting administrative tasks.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy, supportive team and who is passionate about contributing to the positive ethos and values of our school. Previous experience of working in an administrative role in a school preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is confident using IT systems and office equipment
  • Can multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Is reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Has previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (desirable)
