5 Hours per Week | 1-Year Fixed Term | Potential for Permanent Role

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our busy secondary school office team. This is a job share position, working alongside our current receptionist to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk.

  • Hours: 15 hours per week (specific days to be confirmed at interview)

  • Contract: 1-year fixed term, with the possibility of becoming permanent

    About the Role:

    As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient school environment. Duties include answering calls, managing visitor sign-ins, handling enquiries, and supporting administrative tasks.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic educational setting and values teamwork, as you’ll be sharing responsibilities with our experienced receptionist.

    We’re Looking For Someone Who:
    • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Is confident using IT systems and office equipment

    • Can multitask and stay calm under pressure

    • Is reliable, punctual, and professional

    • Has previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (desirable)

    The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
