The Nursery Federation consists of 3 schools across Newcastle Upon Tyne: Ashfield Nursery, Monkchester Road Nursery and Newburn Manor Nursery. These three schools are the only three stand-alone local authority run nursery schools in Newcastle. All 3 nurseries have a long history of offering high-quality nursery education which fully meets the needs of each child.

The Governing Body are looking for a truly inspirational Executive Head Teacher who balances visionary, strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in child development, pedagogy and staff development.

The successful candidate will be someone who is able to combine high-level operational oversight with a genuine passion for early childhood education. They will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and be an advocate for early intervention, inclusive practices (SEND), and for prioritising the social and emotional well-being of our youngest learners. They will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and will be able to ensure all staff share this commitment.Thank you for the interest you have shown in the post of Executive Head Teacher, at the Newcastle Nursery Schools’ Federation
