‘Stocksbridge is a school where all leaders, managers and staff strive for excellence in order to provide the best education possible for all pupils. This results in the pupils’ outstanding achievement.’
(Ofsted 2015)
Our children and staff are very proud to be part of the school. We firmly believe we provide the children in our care with all the necessary skills they need to be successful and happy in life, both academic and socially. We strive for children to leave our school as independent learners, demonstrating first class attitudes to learning. It is a common goal that pupils take the lead in their own learning, have the opportunity to work and play in many different contexts and develop a sense of pride in their own achievements. This is reflected in ‘The Ladder of Success’ which sets the standards for daily life in school.
‘Much thought has gone into designing a curriculum that ensures a wide range of stimulating and varied subjects are taught that will appeal to all learners.’
(Ofsted 2015)
