Extended Senior Leader - Line Management of Science & Most Able Student Provision job summary

We are searching for an inspirational Extended Senior Leader to join our extended leadership team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding science teacher who has extensive Senior Middle Leadership experience and a proven track record in delivering outstanding science and Most Able student outcomes. Under the leadership of the Director of Science and leaders within science, our science faculty has gone from strength to strength. We are now looking to build further capacity within the science team to help shape the next phase of development. The faculty has been line-managed by the Principal for some time and we would now like to ensure that faculty has sustainable and effective support at Senior level to help drive the faculty to ‘outstanding’. In addition to this, the post holder will take responsibility for raising achievement of Most Able students in years 7 to 11. The role is designed to ensure that all Most Able students, including boys, disadvantaged and SEND Most Able achieve outcomes across the curriculum that are exceptional. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with Most Able students, raising their aspiration and strategically managing their bespoke provision.
