Hours: 32.5 Hours per week; 39 Weeks per year (Term time plus INSET days)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:00am to 10:00am and 14:45pm to 18:15pm
About the Role:
Sileby Redlands Community Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Extended Services Club Manager to join our Extended Services Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the care, education, and wellbeing of children within our Discovery Extended Services Provision, including Wraparound Care and Holiday Camps. You will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality provision, provide cover and support across Discovery Primary Schools within the cluster, and adopt a flexible approach to meeting the needs of our Extended Services programmes in a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of Breakfast Clubs, After-School Clubs, and Holiday Camps, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for all children.
- Promote the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare, and compliance, ensuring all statutory, health and safety, first aid, and childcare requirements are consistently met.
- Provide effective leadership and support to club staff, including supervision, training, performance development, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels across provisions.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, schools, and stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and supporting strong communication and collaboration.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve provision quality, maintaining accurate records, managing budgets alongside the Extended Services Lead, and supporting school and Extended Services events as required.
What We are Looking For-
Qualifications:
- Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent OR Able to demonstrate the ability to meet the SLT Level 3 National Occupational Standards relevant to this post
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths/Numeracy, English/Literacy OR Able to demonstrate competency in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to Level 2
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability and willingness to undertake professional development
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with children of a relevant age
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and Health and Safety procedures
