What skills and experience we're looking for
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience working in a governance or compliance role within a Multi-Academy Trust, education setting, or corporate environment.
- Experience in line-managing staff or coordinating team workflows to maximise productivity.
- Deep understanding of the UK school governance landscape, the Academy Trust Handbook, and DfE compliance.
Skills
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and empowering others to fulfil their governance roles effectively and confidently.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple tiers of governance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion.
