Extended Services Lead ( Breakfast & After School Club) job summary
Miers Court Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Extended Services Lead to join the Wrap Around Care Department, to start from 27th August 2026.
We are excited to be bringing wrap around care provision in house at Miers Court Primary School and therefore have a number of roles available. The purpose of the Extended Services Lead role is to oversee the delivery of a safe, inclusive and engaging wraparound care provision for pupils. The postholder will be responsible for planning and leading a range of age-appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional and physical development, while ensuring a positive and nurturing environment. They will also play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, supporting pupils’ wellbeing, and working collaboratively with school staff, parents and carers to ensure a high-quality extended services experience.

This is a Part time, Permanent role, Term Time Only, paid on the NJC PAY SCALE D1 point 4-6 (FTE £25,185.00 - £25,989.00 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £6,403.12 - £6,607.53 per annum)
The working pattern will consist of 11 hours 15 Minutes per week, Monday - Friday, Breakfast Club 7am - 8.40am and After School Club 3.15pm - 5.30pm.
