What skills and experience we're looking for
Brymore Academy is seeking to appoint an Extra Curricular Activities Coordinator to join the Boarding Team at Brymore, to truly enrich the lives of our students outside of their classroom environment. This is a new role that will require someone pro-active and motivated to organise and deliver a range of extra-curricular activities.
This is an exciting and versatile opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering an ambitious schedule of extra-curricular events, trips and activities, promoting student participation and enjoyment. This role requires great organisation and communication to coordinate events and liaise with staff, parents and stakeholders accordingly, whilst ensuring all activities comply with school policy and safety regulations.
Due to the nature of this role, and the working hours involved, this position comes with accommodation on-site. The accommodation provided is a two-bedroom flat, whereby a contribution will be made towards household expenses.

Please note that on rare occasions this role could be required to cover additional duties to support with staff absence in the boarding house.

Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 - 17 set in its own 60 acre site in the Quantocks, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities which are fully utilised in the delivery of the curriculum to over 320 students of which 130 are boarders. The school is currently expanding and this is an exciting time in Brymore’s development.
