Early Years Lunchtime Midday Supervisor
Hours: 5 hours per week
Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year
Contract Type: Temporary, until 31/08/2027

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Lunchtime Midday Supervisor to join our friendly primary school community and early years team. We are proud of our warm, welcoming environment—and we want someone who will support our youngest children during the lunchtime period, helping to create a safe, happy and nurturing environment.
What you’ll do:
Supervising children during lunch periods and outdoor play.
Supporting children with eating their meals and promoting good table manners.
Encouraging positive play and social interaction.
Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all children at all times.
Assisting with the setting up and clearing away of lunchtime areas where required.
Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns to appropriate staff.
Promoting the school's values and behaviour expectations.
What we’re looking for:
Enjoys working with young children and understands their needs.
Is patient, caring and approachable.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can work effectively as part of a team.
Is able to encourage positive behaviour and safe play.
Demonstrates reliability and a positive attitude.
